Mark Swallow, PhD
Mark has more than 20 years’ experience in the life sciences sector, spent in communications, journalism and publishing. He joined Citigate in 2003. Previously, Mark was Managing Editor of the BioVenture Publishing group at PJB Publications (now Informa, and publisher of Scrip and Clinica). Mark was also an editor of Elsevier’s Trends in Biochemical Sciences, a leading academic review journal, and has a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of London. At Citigate, Mark works with private and public companies providing advice and managing communication programmes covering a range of financial and corporate activities. In particular, he has recent experience in communications to support IPOs, public and private fundraisings and M&A transactions as well as providing consultancy on corporate positioning, messaging and materials. Notable current and recent clients include Algeta, Abingworth, Heptares Therapeutics, Karolinska Development and Nordic Nanovector.
