Christen Thomson
Christen is a former Deputy CEO and Head of External Affairs of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), the global representative of the alternative investment industry. At AIMA, which has more than 1600 corporate members in over 50 countries who collectively manage more than $1.5 trillion in assets, Christen was responsible for co-ordinating strategic communications for the industry and worked closely with both many of the world’s biggest hedge funds and many of the world’s biggest investors in hedge funds, as well as with the leading journalists covering the industry globally.
More recently, Christen was Head of Communications for Terra Firma, the leading European private equity firm. He is a former BBC journalist who spent 12 years at the Corporation.
