Angharad Couch
Angharad is a former financial journalist with more than 10 years’ experience working on regional and national newspapers including The Manchester Evening News, The Guardian and The Independent. Prior to joining Citigate Dewe Rogerson, she worked at Bloomberg for five years and held the post of Retail Correspondent.
Since joining Citigate Dewe Rogerson in 2007, Angharad has advised a wide range of UK and international companies on retained financial and corporate communications and project work. M&A transactions include Sara Lee/Douwe Egberts, ABB/Baldor, Yorkshire Building Society/Chelsea Building Society, Warburg Pincus/Poundland and Nike/Umbro.
Angharad advises clients in many sectors and has a particular specialism for the retail and consumer, private equity and transport sectors.
She also has extensive experience of crisis communications including litigation support and has worked on several high profile restructurings and shareholder activism campaigns including Stelios’ shareholder activism campaign against easyJet and advising Castlebeck on the Winterbourne View care home abuse scandal.
