The firm provides a range of independent “unbundled” pension wrappers, through its IFA, platform and Discretionary Fund Manager partners.

The programme will commence in the New Year and the team will be headed by Citigate Dewe Rogerson Director, Emma Murphy.

London & Colonial Head of Product & Business Development, Adam Wrench said: “We’ve been impressed by Citigate’s value-led approach and expert knowledge of the UK and international pensions market. We look forward to working with the team.”

Citigate Dewe Rogerson Managing Director, Jonathan Flint said: “As we head into 2015 there is a multitude of stories waiting to unfurl within the pensions arena, and London & Colonial is very well positioned to take part in the conversation. As one of the earliest pure SIPP providers, a provider of QROPS and one of the first to offer an open annuity, they will have a lot to say next year.
