The new brief will see CDR encouraging businesses in the Enterprise M3 Sci:Tech corridor in Surrey and Hampshire to bid for a share of £3 million in funding from its Growing Enterprise Fund. In addition, the agency will hope to highlight the importance that the LEP is playing as an economic stimulus in the Enterprise M3 area, showcasing its commitment to developing the area’s infrastructure for businesses and residents.

CDR Executive Director Ewan Robertson will lead the account, overseeing a team of four.

Kathy Slack, Executive Director, Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “We are delighted to be working with CDR on a second project this year as we highlight the funding we have secured for the region. The agency will play an integral part in developing our relationship with businesses and residents across Surrey and Hampshire.”

“This appointment further underlines the agency’s credentials for the provision of communications support for public sector organisations, as we fully understand the nuances of engaging with multiple stakeholders across both the public and private sector”, said Ewan. “We look forward to supporting Enterprise M3 in its efforts to secure significant funding for the region and ultimately drive economic development across Hampshire and Surrey.”
