Citigate Dewe Rogerson hires James Knowles as Director with its Investor Relations practice
Citigate Dewe Rogerson has appointed James Knowles as a Director with its Investor Relations practice.
A highly experienced business development, investor relations and capital raising specialist in the asset management industry, and a former senior investment banker, James’s appointment brings additional specialist knowledge of the hedge and activist funds sector to further enhance CDR’s client and transaction advisory capability across both Investor Relations and Financial PR.
James started his career at Kleinwort Benson before spending 12 years at Morgan Stanley first as Equity Syndicate Manager and then moving to equity sales and the prime brokerage department with responsibility for Morgan Stanley’s UK and European hedge fund relationships. In 2007 he moved into the buy-side focusing on business development and fund raising including for emerging markets hedge fund GLS Capital and activist investor Knight Vinke Asset Management.
