Citigate Dewe Rogerson announces James Bishop as a Director in its Corporate team
James is a Director in the corporate practice where he specialises in the banking, insurance, pensions and investments sectors.
James joined Citigate’s London office following a stint in the United Arab Emirates working with Weber Shandwick and H+K Strategies. There, he directed the Middle East communications for clients including Blackstone, Credit Suisse, Eversheds, EY, Franklin Templeton Investments, Friends Provident, HSBC and PwC across the entire GCC region, in addition to the UAE itself. Before moving to the Middle East, James spent many years based in London working for some of the City’s leading specialist financial and professional services communications agencies, working with names including Barclays, Barnett Waddingham, Baker Tilly, MN fiduciary managers, RPMI/Railpen, Rowanmoor Pensions, RSM Tenon and Sacker & Partners LLP.
James is an NCTJ-accredited (University of Wales, Cardiff) broadcast journalist and has worked in television and radio newsrooms across the UK and UAE, in addition to spending two years as a newspaper reporter. He graduated from the University of Leeds with a joint honours degree in English and History.
