Play Communications IPO
Citigate Dewe Rogerson provided strategic communications advice and implementation for Play Communications, Poland’s second largest telecoms company, during its recent IPO. CDR was appointed by the company earlier this year to support the IPO, which was completed in July.
The communications programme focused on the company’s rapid growth from challenger to market leader and the strength of the brand in the Polish market. The Offering raised €1.03 billion, the largest European telecoms IPO in two years and the largest ever by a privately owned Polish company. The offering follows CDR’s other IPO projects in 2017, including AIB in Ireland and Waberer’s in Hungary.
David Westover and Sandra Novakov led the team out of London, with support from Michael Russell and Isabelle Andrews.
